Helen founded Helen Grace Hats after working with a milliner at horse race meetings and regattas selling hats. After Helen took an interest, he taught her how to design and craft her own styles now largely for weddings.

Then after a trip to Vietnam Helen found traditional Vietnamese hats being hand made and each one individually hand painted or hand stitched. Helen spent time with local people choosing designs to bring back to the UK. Once the hats were made they were all boxed and sent home for everyone to enjoy!
